In this intermediate-level course, students will delve deeper into the world of Carnatic music vocal. Focus will be on understanding and singing various ragas with more complexity, exploring their intricate melodic patterns and ornamentations. Students will also learn to interpret and perform compositions (kritis) by renowned composers, emphasizing expression and emotive rendition. Advanced vocal techniques including gamakas (ornamentations) and intricate rhythm patterns will be introduced to enhance the students' musical proficiency.
